Embark on Zachód 800, the final and second-longest stage of the Polish Bike Tour series. This self-supported ultra-cycling marathon takes you from the mountainous terrains of Żywiec to the coastal city of Szczecin, traversing a diverse array of landscapes and cultural regions.
Route Highlights:
•Silesian Regions: Begin your journey in Żywiec, navigating through Upper and Lower Silesia along the Czech border, experiencing a blend of industrial heritage and natural beauty.
•Oder River Valleys: Ride through the expansive Oder River wetlands, encountering serene landscapes and rich biodiversity.
•Sudetes and Karkonosze Mountains: Tackle challenging ascents and descents in these mountain ranges, with notable sections near Wałbrzych and Szklarska Poręba.
•Western Borderlands: After the mountainous segments, the route flattens as you ride along Poland’s western frontier, passing through the Warta River Landscape Park and the picturesque Lower Oder Valley.
•Szczecin Lagoon: Conclude your adventure near the Szczecin Lagoon, finishing in the historic city of Szczecin, where the Polish Bike Tour journey comes full circle.

•65% asphalt, cobblestone, and hardened roads
•35% gravel, forest paths, and singletrack

Participant Requirements:
To complete the course within the 120-hour limit, riders should aim to cover an average of approximately 160 km per day, maintaining a minimum overall speed (including stops and rest) of 6.66 km/h.
