This self-supported ultra-cycling marathon challenges riders to traverse some of the country’s most remote and picturesque regions\, from the Baltic coast to the Bieszczady Mountains. \nRoute Highlights: \n•Start: Depart from ERGO Arena in Gdańsk\, breathing in the fresh sea air as you follow the coastline. \n•Warmia and Masuria: Navigate through the wild forests and serene lakes of these enchanting regions. \n•Podlasie: Explore the mysterious corners of this area\, with chances to encounter the majestic European bison. \n•Roztocze and Polesie: Experience Poland’s most pristine natural environments\, where nature thrives undisturbed. \n•Bieszczady Mountains: Conclude your adventure amidst the majestic peaks and meadows\, finishing in the heart of Sanok. \nSurface Composition: \n•65% asphalt\, cobblestone\, and hardened roads \n•35% gravel\, forest paths\, and singletrack \nRecommended Bike Type: MTB or Gravel bike \nParticipant Requirements: \nTo complete the course within the 174-hour limit\, riders should aim to cover an average of approximately 166 km per day\, maintaining a minimum overall speed (including stops and rest) of 6.9 km/h. \nFor comprehensive details\, including route profiles\, registration\, and regulations\, please visit the official event page: Wschód 1200 – Polish Bike Tour.
