Race through Slovakia 2025

Date & Time:

May 10, 2025 - May 16, 2025

Race through Slovakia 2025 is an endurance cycling race that challenges participants to rely solely on their own strength and skills, utilizing only services accessible to all competitors. The event is open to both solo riders and pairs.

The race is scheduled to start on May 10, 2025, at 7:00 AM from the Isadore Community Hub in Bratislava. Participants will navigate through six mandatory segments, covering approximately 1,000 km for the long route and 650 km for the shorter option. The course traverses diverse terrains, including the Carpathian segment, the vicinity of Banská Štiavnica (featuring a climb to Sitno), the Danube-Ipeľ National Park near Esztergom, Hungary’s Bükk National Park, and extends into Poland with a challenging ascent at Przehyba. The final segment leads riders to the Western Tatras and Liptov regions, culminating at Chata Pečivár near Jakubovany, close to Liptovský Mikuláš.

While there is no official time limit for the race, organizers will be present at the finish line to welcome participants until May 16, 2025, at 12:00 PM. An afterparty is planned for the same day in Bratislava. The event offers an opportunity for seasoned endurance cyclists to kick off their season and prepare for more demanding races, while also providing newcomers with a manageable entry into the discipline.
