The Transcordilleras 3 Stages is a self-supported bikepacking event that traverses the imposing mountain ranges of Colombia. Scheduled from August 8 to August 10, 2025, the race covers over 320 kilometers with a cumulative elevation gain of approximately 9,000 meters, starting in Girón (Santander) and concluding in Paipa (Boyacá).

- Average Elevation Gain per Stage: 2,200 meters
- Terrain Composition: Approximately 60% paved roads and 40% unpaved paths
- Altitude: Mountain passes exceed 4,000 meters above sea level
- Climate Variations: Valleys can experience temperatures up to 40°C, while higher elevations may present cold and wet conditions, including loose rocks and mud
